Shikra E3: 56.8 bu/ac
Emerge E3: 55.4 bu/ac
The winner of this plot was Superior R2X at 58.9 bu/ac, and it also topped the income/acre metric. There are also some interesting outcomes among the featured products. Cyclone R2X came in with very strong yields for a very early wheat bean, while Osprey E3 edged out P19T39R2 in the side-by-side. Check out the harvest gallery to see more results and information.
Harrier E3 showing an open canopy and great pubescence; it’s a smaller, compact plant that looks like it would be particularly strong on nicer, loamier soils.
Osprey E3 is a beautiful looking bean with a nice canopy height and bean structure that showed strong emergence.
Shikra E3 is a taller bean fit for heavier soils as well as all soil types; stature is equal to the competitor product that has typically performed well in the area. Shikra E3 had great emergence here and is showing exceptional canopy closure with an aggressive bean.
Emerge E3 is a little bit shorter stature plant that fills rows very well, with a ‘beachball’ kind of stature. It also showed excellent emergence, as well as great pubescence and leaves, with a notably beautiful white flower.
Corn: crop has progressed well. Going through drought conditions at this time. Most varieties are at the V8 stage. In definite need of a rain.
Soybeans: most varieties are at the V2 to V3 stage with a couple approaching R1. Plot is handling drought conditions very well. Crop is very consistent from one end to the other. Great potential for yield as long as we get rain.
