MZ 2699DBR: 212.4 bu/ac
MZ 2982DBR: 222.9 bu/ac
MZ 3117DBR: 224.7 bu/ac
While MZ 3117DBR performed best here among the featured products, it was another Maizex hybrid—E63G62 R—that won the plot overall. Check out the harvest gallery to see more results. We’ve also posted the agronomy trial results, where we looked at planting depth and starter fertilizer.
Crop is progressing well, and pollination is very good. Most of the varieties are at the R3 stage.
The performance plot was side-dressed with 35 gallons of UAN while the agronomy plot was side-dressed with 23 gallons of UAN.
Corn planted with conventional tillage; previous crop was soybeans. 5 gallons of 3-18-18 starter applied.
20 gallons of UAN applied pre-emergence.
15 MT of solid dairy manure spread in the fall.
